Returns & Refunds Policy

Please read this policy carefully before placing an order, as it strictly governs all return, exchange, and refund requests.

1. Quality Assurance Before Dispatch

Every book is inspected by our team for manufacturing defects – including binding defects and missing pages – before it is shipped. Only books that pass this quality check are dispatched to customers.

2. Grounds for Return or Exchange

Despite our pre-dispatch quality checks, we understand issues can occasionally occur in transit or go unnoticed. Return or exchange requests are accepted ONLY on the following grounds:

• Binding defects (e.g., pages coming loose, faulty spine/binding), or
• Missing pages in the book received.

3. Time Limit to Raise a Request

You must raise your return/exchange request within 24 hours of delivery of the order.
Requests raised after this 24-hour window will not be accepted under any circumstances.

4. How to Raise a Request

To raise a request, email us at support@chaudharilawpublishers.org within 24 hours of delivery, including:

• Your order number.
• A clear description of the defect (binding issue or missing pages).
• Photographs/video clearly showing the defect.

5. Review and Approval

• All requests are reviewed by our team to verify that the issue qualifies under Section 2 above.
• We reserve the right to accept or reject a request based on this review.
• You will be notified by email of the outcome of your request.

6. Refund Process and Timeline

• If your request is raised within 24 hours of delivery and is approved by our team, a refund will be initiated within 7 business days of approval.
• Refunds will be processed to the original online payment method used at the time of purchase. As we do not accept Cash on Delivery, all refunds are made electronically.
• Actual credit to your account may take additional time depending on your bank or payment provider.

7. Non-Returnable Situations

Returns, exchanges, or refunds will not be provided for:

• Requests raised after 24 hours of delivery.
• Reasons other than binding defects or missing pages.
• Books that show signs of use, damage, or alteration after delivery that are unrelated to the defect claimed.
